Choosing between soft, medium and hard bonds
(1). Soft Bond - The metallic powder in the sintered segment wears away quickly releasing dull diamond crystals exposing new abrasive crystals to cut efficiently. Best used on hard surfaces.
(2). Medium Bond - A metal bond strength right between that of soft and hard bonds.
(3). Hard Bond - The bond of the metallic powder in the segment wears away slowly and prevents premature wear against soft, abrasive surfaces.

3. Application
(1). Spiral Segmented Plugs are designed for aggressive grinding applications such as thin mil coating and mastic removal.
(2). The segmented design will provide fast production rates and leave a rough profile. We offer four bonds soft, medium soft, medium, and hard. Grits 6#, 16#, 30#, 50#, 100#, 150#, 200# are available.
(3). We can also custom make bonds and grits sizes please call for details.
(4). Broad range of bond achieves maximum capacity for floor preparation. Aggressive and efficient for various concrete floors.
